Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 19, 2026
These terms govern access to and use of Parlate, Reserved Technologies' dictation and transcription service.
Acceptance
By creating an account, signing in, or using Parlate, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use Parlate.
The service
Parlate converts dictated audio into text and may apply punctuation, formatting, and style corrections. Automated transcription can contain errors; you must review the output before using it for professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety-related purposes.
Features, limits, and supported platforms may change as the product evolves. We will seek to communicate material changes that affect your use.
Account and access
Access may use Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your device and provider account under your control and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not share, sell, or transfer credentials or sessions, bypass access controls, or use another person's identity. We may limit access to protect your account, the service, or other users.
Acceptable use
You must use Parlate lawfully and respect other people's rights, privacy, and confidentiality. You are responsible for obtaining any notices, consents, and authority required to record, dictate, or process content.
- Do not dictate unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or rights-infringing content.
- Do not submit another person's secrets, personal data, or confidential information without sufficient authority.
- Do not interfere with the service, automate abusive traffic, extract the system, or bypass technical or commercial limits.
- Do not rely on an unreviewed transcript where an inaccuracy could cause harm.
Your content
You retain any rights you hold in your audio, dictations, vocabulary, and text. You grant us only the limited, worldwide, and temporary license needed to receive, transmit, transcribe, clean, return, and protect that content while providing the service.
You represent that you have the right to provide the content. Parlate does not claim ownership of the text you produce or use this license to sell your content.
Third-party services
Parlate relies on Apple and Google for authentication, speech-recognition providers such as Soniox and AssemblyAI, and an OpenAI-compatible provider for text cleanup. Each third party operates under its own terms and policies.
We do not control their availability, account decisions, or every processing activity they perform directly. We may replace providers with others that perform an equivalent function and will apply reasonable security and data-minimization measures.
Plans and payments
Some features may require a trial, subscription, or purchase. Before confirmation, the store or purchase interface will disclose the applicable price, term, renewal, limits, and conditions.
Charges, renewals, cancellations, and refunds processed by Apple, Google, or another platform are also governed by that platform's rules. Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your account.
Availability and warranties
Parlate is provided as available. Although we work to provide a reliable service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect transcription, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Reserved Technologies is not liable for indirect losses, decisions made without reviewing a transcript, or outages caused by networks, devices, or external providers. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
Termination, changes, and contact
You may stop using Parlate at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach, security risk, abuse, or legal obligation, and will seek to provide notice when reasonably possible.
We may update these Terms and will publish the new date on this page. For questions, account requests, or complaints, contact soporte@reserved-technologies.com.
